Stekkerdoos Acar S8 Dual, 8-voudige overspanningsbeveiliging, 3 m kabel, zwart (W1750)

Acar S8 Dual is an 8-socket surge protector power strip with a 3 m cable designed for centralized power distribution and basic surge protection in home and office environments. The compact black housing integrates eight AC outlets arranged to accommodate multiple devices at once, while the long cable provides flexible placement options behind desks, entertainment centers or near workstations. The unit is intended to simplify connection of computers, peripherals, audiovisual equipment and small appliances where a reliable mains feed and protection against minor voltage spikes are needed.

Advantages

The power strip combines multiple outlets with a built-in surge protection function in a single compact housing, reducing cable clutter and enabling safer simultaneous use of several devices. Its three-metre cable increases installation flexibility and allows the unit to reach distant wall sockets without additional extension cords. The black finish offers a neutral appearance suitable for most interiors, and the overall design prioritizes straightforward, space-saving placement.

Suitable for

• Desktop computers and monitors
• Printers, scanners and office peripherals
• Home audio/video equipment and media players
• Charging stations for phones, tablets and accessories
• Small household appliances with standard AC plugs

Key specifications

• Number of AC outlets: 8
• Cable length: 3 m
• Colour: black
• Form factor: compact inline power strip housing
• Protection: integrated surge protection for mains spikes (basic level)

How to use

Place the power strip on a stable surface or secure it behind furniture so that the cable can reach the wall socket without strain. Plug the power strip into a properly grounded AC outlet, then connect devices to the available sockets. Avoid overloading the unit by checking the combined power draw of connected equipment and ensuring it remains within the maximum current rating of the household circuit. Do not use the unit in damp or wet locations and keep ventilation clear of covers or heavy fabrics.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, connect equipment with known power requirements and avoid using the power strip for high-power devices such as large heaters or air conditioners. Periodically inspect the cable and plug for wear or damage, and replace the unit if surge protection indicators (if present) show loss of protection. Use the power strip indoors on dry, level surfaces and ensure connected devices are compatible with the local mains voltage and socket type.
