Overspanningsbeveiliging stekkerdoos Philips met 8 stopcontacten en 4×USB

The Philips power strip surge protector with 8 sockets and 4×USB provides centralized mains distribution and overvoltage protection for multiple devices in home and office environments. It combines eight grounded AC outlets with four USB ports to power and charge computers, monitors, printers, routers, mobile phones and tablets from a single, compact unit. The design focuses on practical connectivity and safety features suitable for typical workspace and entertainment setups.

Advantages

This power strip integrates surge protection to reduce the risk of damage from voltage spikes while offering a mix of AC and USB outlets to minimize the number of separate chargers required. The eight AC sockets accommodate several bulky adapters without blocking adjacent outlets, and the USB ports provide direct charging for phones and tablets without occupying an AC plug. Built to meet standard safety requirements, the product simplifies cable management and reduces the need for multiple extension cords.

How to use

Place the power strip on a stable, dry surface and connect the unit to a properly grounded mains outlet. Plug AC-powered equipment into the available sockets and connect mobile devices to the USB ports using their charging cables. Ensure total connected load does not exceed the rated capacity of the mains circuit. Do not use the power strip in wet or high-humidity locations and avoid covering it with fabrics or other materials that could impede ventilation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, connect high-draw devices (such as space heaters or large appliances) to dedicated wall outlets rather than to this power strip. Regularly inspect the unit and connected cables for damage and disconnect the strip during prolonged absences or severe electrical storms to enhance protection against surge events.
