Hybride glasvezelkabel HDMI AOC DIGITUS AK-330126-700-S, UHD 8K, 70 m

Hybrid HDMI AOC (Active Optical Cable) DIGITUS AK-330126-700-S is a 70 m cable designed to transmit uncompressed HDMI video and audio signals in 8K @ 60 Hz (UHD-2) over long distances. The cable combines optical fiber and copper conductors to deliver up to 48 Gbps bandwidth with zero frame delay, while maintaining a compact outer diameter (4.8 mm) and a small bending radius (20 mm) for flexible installation. It is immune to electromagnetic interference and supports current HDMI 2.1 features such as HDR, eARC, CEC and HDCP 2.2, providing stable and loss-free signal transmission for professional AV and home applications.

Advantages

The hybrid construction of OM3 fiber optic and copper wires ensures high transmission speed up to 48 Gbps with minimal latency and high resistance to EMI, enabling loss-free delivery of high-resolution video and multi-channel audio over 70 m. Its small diameter and 20 mm bending radius allow neat routing in installation scenarios where space is limited, and the cable is supplied on a drum for controlled, kink-free unwinding. Plug & Play operation requires no drivers, and compatibility with HDR, HDCP 2.2, EDID and ARC/eARC makes the cable suitable for modern HDMI systems.

Suitable for

• Professional AV installations in auditoriums, broadcast and control rooms
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces with long cable runs
• Digital signage and large-format displays
• Fixed home theater and distributed audio/video systems requiring 8K bandwidth
• Environments with strong electromagnetic interference where copper-only cables are unsuitable

How to use

Connect one HDMI end of the DIGITUS HDMI AOC to the source device and the other end to the display or receiver. The cable is active and requires no additional drivers; after physical connection the devices will negotiate supported resolutions and audio formats via EDID. Ensure the cable follows gentle curves respecting the 20 mm bending radius and unwind it from the drum without kinking. For installation in racks or conduits, route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

For reliable 8K 60 Hz operation, confirm both source and display support HDMI 2.1 features and HDCP 2.2. Maintain the minimum bending radius of 20 mm, avoid sharp kinks, and use the supplied drum for controlled deployment. In installations with potential electromagnetic interference or long cable runs, prefer this hybrid fiber optic cable over copper-only HDMI cables to ensure stable, lossless transmission.
