Hypertec 858634-HY netwerkkabel rood 1,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec 858634-HY is a 1.5 m Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat7 networking cable in red with snagless RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transfer, the Cat7 S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, providing stable performance in demanding network environments. The cable's LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire and its robust build supports reliable connections between devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP Cat7 construction delivers improved protection against external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with lower-category cables. Snagless RJ-45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and removal. The 1.5 m length is suitable for short runs between network equipment while the LSZH outer sheath offers enhanced safety in indoor installations where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required.

How to use

Insert RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the 1.5 m cable for close connections between computers, switches, routers or patch panels. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force to maintain shielding integrity and connector reliability. For installations in confined or public indoor spaces, ensure the cable routing complies with building and safety codes.

Recommendations

Use this Hypertec Cat7 S/FTP cable for short, high-performance connections where reduced interference and LSZH properties are required; for longer runs, consider higher length variants to avoid tensioning the cable.
