Indoor access point Cambium Networks X7-35X Wi-Fi 7 2x2

The Cambium Networks X7-35X Indoor Access Point Wi‑Fi 7 2x2 provides next-generation wireless connectivity for enterprise and institutional environments. This indoor access point supports Wi‑Fi 7 features and 2x2 MIMO spatial streams to deliver improved throughput and lower latency compared with earlier Wi‑Fi generations. Designed for dual‑band operation and compatibility with existing wired network infrastructure, the X7-35X balances performance, security, and compact form factor for deployment in offices, classrooms, and public indoor spaces.

Advantages

The X7-35X combines Wi‑Fi 7 enhancements and 2x2 MIMO to increase peak data rates and spectral efficiency while maintaining straightforward installation and management. Dual‑band support optimizes client distribution across 2.4 GHz and 5/6 GHz ranges, and modern security protocol support helps protect network access and user traffic. The unit’s compact design minimizes visual impact in indoor environments and simplifies mounting and cable routing.

Suitable for

• Enterprise offices and meeting rooms
• Educational buildings and lecture halls
• Hospitality common areas and lobbies
• High-density indoor zones requiring reliable Wi‑Fi

Key specifications

• Wireless generation: Wi‑Fi 7 (next‑generation standard)
• Radio configuration: 2x2 MIMO
• Frequency bands: dual‑band operation covering 2.4 GHz and 5/6 GHz ranges
• Security: support for modern wireless security protocols and encryption
• Form factor: compact indoor access point suitable for ceiling or wall mounting
• Management: integration with centralized network management systems
• Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet backhaul support (PoE capable where applicable)

How to use

Install the X7-35X on a ceiling or wall in a central location to maximize coverage; connect the access point to the wired network using a Gigabit Ethernet cable and provide power via PoE if supported by your network switch or injector. Configure SSIDs, security settings, channel plans, and client access through the network management interface used in your environment. Place additional access points as needed to achieve consistent coverage and manage channel allocation to reduce interference in dense deployments.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, position the access point away from large metal objects and other sources of RF interference, maintain up‑to‑date firmware, and use centralized management to monitor device health and client distribution. In high‑density areas, plan channel assignments and consider capacity needs when scaling the network.
