Industriële PoE-switch TP-LINK SFG108 – 12-poorts PoE, 802.3af/at-ondersteuning

TP-LINK SFG108 is an industrial PoE switch with 12 ports that supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. It is designed to provide both power and data over Ethernet to compatible devices in industrial, outdoor and edge network environments. The switch combines centralized power delivery with wired connectivity for devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points, making it suitable for surveillance and remote installations requiring reliable PoE operation.

Advantages

The SFG108 supports both 802.3af and 802.3at, enabling compatibility with a wide range of PoE devices and flexible power allocation. With 12 ports available, the switch simplifies cabling and reduces the need for separate power supplies at each device. Industrial-grade design improves durability in harsher environments and helps maintain stable network performance. The integrated PoE capability centralizes power management and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable, reducing installation complexity.

How to use

Install the TP-LINK SFG108 in a suitable indoor or protected outdoor enclosure following site power and mounting requirements. Connect powered devices to the switch using standard Ethernet cables; the switch will deliver data and appropriate PoE power automatically to connected 802.3af/at-compatible devices. Connect the switch to the rest of the network via an upstream uplink port or router. Configure any required network settings on upstream devices or via management interfaces as needed for your deployment.

Recommendations

Ensure proper ventilation and environmental protection in industrial or outdoor installations. Verify total PoE power budget against the combined requirements of connected devices and distribute high-draw devices accordingly. Use certified Cat5e or better Ethernet cabling for reliable data and power delivery, and follow local regulations for mounting and electrical connections.
