InLine audio headset-adapterkabel 3,5 mm stekker 4-polig / 2x 3,5 mm, wit, 1 m

The InLine 99301W Audio Headset Adapter Cable converts a single 3.5 mm four‑pole audio socket into two separate 3.5 mm sockets, enabling conventional computer headsets with separate microphone and headphone plugs to be used with devices that have a combined 4‑pole jack (found on many smartphones, laptops and tablets). The adapter follows the common CTIA/AHJ pinout used by Apple devices, many HTC models and some Lenovo and Dell notebooks, providing compatibility for headsets across those devices. The cable is 1 m long, white, and fitted with gold‑plated contacts for reliable signal transmission.

Advantages

This compact adapter supports headsets with separate mic and headphone plugs to connect to combined 4‑pole jacks, maintaining proper microphone and stereo audio routing. Gold‑plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The 1 m cable length offers convenient reach without excess slack, and the white design matches many consumer devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting PC headsets (separate mic and headphone plugs) to smartphones with a 4‑pole 3.5 mm jack
• Using computer headsets with MacBook Pro / MacBook Air models that use a combined audio/mic jack
• Compatibility with iPhone models and many HTC, Lenovo (e.g., ThinkPad T510 series) and Dell Latitude laptops that follow the CTIA/AHJ pinout

How to use

Insert the 3.5 mm male plug into the device's combined audio/microphone jack. Plug the headset's headphone (audio out) and microphone (mic) 3.5 mm plugs into the corresponding female sockets of the adapter. The adapter adheres to the CTIA/AHJ pin assignment used by many mobile devices; verify headset plug orientation if audio or microphone does not work as expected.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use headsets with standard 3.5 mm TRS plugs for audio and mic. If a device does not detect the microphone, try reversing the headset plugs or test with another headset to confirm compatibility. Keep contacts clean and avoid excessive bending near connectors to prolong service life.
