Kabeltule ACT TT4510 RJ45 grijs voor 5,5-mm-kabel

The ACT TT4510 RJ45 grey boot is designed for use with 5.5 mm round Ethernet cables to protect RJ-45 plugs and provide strain relief. Supplied in packs of 25, these grey cable boots help prevent cable bend, connector damage and accidental unplugging while keeping a compact profile compatible with most RJ-45 connectors and keystone jacks. The product is CE and RoHS certified, meeting common safety and environmental standards for cabling accessories.

Advantages

These cable boots are molded to fit snugly over standard RJ-45 connectors and the 5.5 mm cable jacket, reducing mechanical stress at the connector termination point. The soft yet durable material protects the clip from catching on panels and routing channels, while the neutral grey colour supports discreet installations. Supplied in bulk packs of 25, the boots offer a consistent appearance across multiple cables and simplify mass installations.

Suitable for

• 5.5 mm round Ethernet and network cables
• Office and data center patch panels and horizontal cabling
• Home networking and small business installations
• Field service, structured cabling work and bulk terminations

Key specifications

• Colour: grey
• Compatible cable outer diameter: approximately 5.5 mm
• Material: flexible polymer for strain relief and clip protection
• Pack quantity: 25 pieces per pack
• Certifications: CE, RoHS compliant

How to use

Slide the boot over the cable before terminating the RJ-45 plug. After crimping the connector onto the cable, push the boot forward until it fully covers the plug body and aligns with the connector latch to provide clip protection and strain relief. Ensure the cable jacket reaches into the rear of the plug so the boot can support the transition from cable to connector without creating tension on individual conductors.

Recommendations

For reliable results, choose the correct boot size for your cable outer diameter and confirm compatibility with the specific RJ-45 connector model. Avoid stretching the boot excessively during installation to maintain its protective shape and to ensure the clip guard functions properly.
