InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC-kabel, 8K4K, zwart, 30 m

The InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC Cable 30m 17230I is an active optical cable designed to transmit high-resolution video and multi-channel audio over a 30 meter distance. Supporting DisplayPort 1.4 specification, the cable enables transmission of 8K and 4K signals where long copper cables would fail or suffer signal degradation. The black, flexible cable uses optical fiber technology with integrated active electronics to maintain high bandwidth and stable signal quality for professional installations, home theaters, gaming setups and presentation systems.

Advantages

The active optical design allows reliable signal transmission up to 30 m without repeaters, providing full DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth for high-resolution and high-refresh-rate displays. The cable preserves audio formats and multi-channel sound while reducing susceptibility to electromagnetic interference compared with long copper cables. Its plug-and-play DisplayPort connectors require no external power or drivers in typical configurations, simplifying installation and integration into existing display environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs or workstations to distant 4K or 8K monitors and displays
• Long-run connections in conference rooms and lecture halls
• Home cinema systems where the source and display are separated by several meters
• Gaming setups that require high refresh rates and low signal loss over long distances

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Standard: DisplayPort 1.4
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Transmission medium: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Colour: Black
• Supports resolutions up to 8K and 4K with high refresh rates (per DisplayPort 1.4 capability)

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, laptop, media player) and the other to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or projector. Ensure both source and display ports comply with DisplayPort 1.4 to achieve the highest available resolutions and refresh rates. After connection, set the desired resolution and refresh rate in the source device's display settings. Avoid sharp bends in the cable and route it to prevent excessive stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, place the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight coils or kinks. Verify that both source and display firmware and drivers are up to date when using advanced features such as adaptive sync or HDR. If the display does not detect the signal, reconnect both ends and check display input selection.
