DisplayPort-kabel S/CONN 30-15505 50 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks DisplayPort cable S/CONN 30-15505 is a 50 m black cable with DisplayPort connectors at both ends. With a 4.8 mm diameter and a design aimed at preserving signal integrity over extended runs, this cable is suitable for transmitting high-quality video and audio between source devices and displays in professional and commercial environments. It provides a stable wired connection for long-distance display setups where wireless or shorter cabling is impractical.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable offers long-reach connectivity while maintaining consistent signal transmission quality. The 50 m length reduces the need for signal extenders or repeaters in many installations. A slim 4.8 mm diameter contributes to easier routing in cable channels and conduits. The use of two DisplayPort connectors ensures compatibility with DisplayPort-equipped graphics cards, docking stations, and monitors, enabling both video and audio transport over a single cable.

Suitable for

• Professional AV installations in conference rooms and auditoriums
• Digital signage and display walls requiring long cable runs
• Workstations where the source is positioned away from the display
• Temporary event setups where durable long cables are needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Connectors: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Outer diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black
• Transports both video and audio signals

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort end to the video output of the source device (for example, a PC graphics card, docking station or AV player) and the other end to the DisplayPort input of the monitor or display device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a stable connection. For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting along the cable run and secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors. If connecting over mixed environments (through conduits or cable trays), check that the route supports the cable diameter and avoids sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality over 50 m, use direct runs where possible, keep the cable away from high-power electrical cabling, and avoid kinking. If experiencing signal loss at maximum length in specific setups, consider using an active repeater or an external DisplayPort signal extender compatible with passive DisplayPort cables.
