InLine patchkabel, Cat.6A, S/FTP, PE outdoor, zwart, 25 m

InLine Patch cable Cat.6A S/FTP PE outdoor black 25m is a professional outdoor LAN patch cable with double S/FTP shielding (PiMf) and a UV-, oil- and water-resistant polyethylene (PE) jacket. It is designed for outdoor applications including IP and PoE/PoE+ video surveillance systems and for reliable connections between switches, routers, hubs, network cards and other active or passive network devices in demanding environments. The cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at up to 500 MHz and is suitable for use in data centres, server farms and industrial installations.

Advantages

The InLine Cat.6A cable offers enhanced electromagnetic interference protection thanks to its S/FTP construction, gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for stable contact and a robust PE sheath that resists UV radiation, oil and moisture. Its 25 m length and Cat.6A performance enable 10 Gbps transmissions and compatibility with Fast Ethernet links while maintaining signal integrity in outdoor and professional installations.

Suitable for

• Outdoor IP video surveillance and PoE/PoE+ camera systems
• Connections between switches, routers, hubs and servers
• Data centres, server rooms and industrial network environments
• High-speed LAN links requiring Cat.6A performance up to 10 Gbps

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (PiMf) — overall foil with individually shielded pairs
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Maximum data rate: 10 Gbps
• Length: 25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket material: UV-, oil- and water-resistant polyethylene (PE)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the gold-plated RJ-45 ends to the corresponding Ethernet ports on network devices such as switches, routers, cameras or servers. Route the cable outdoors using appropriate cable clips, conduits or trays to protect it from mechanical damage; ensure the connectors are sheltered from direct weather exposure when possible. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices and test the connection with network testing tools after installation.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor reliability, avoid prolonged exposure of connectors to standing water and direct sunlight; use weatherproof connectors or junction boxes for termination points. Maintain bend radii according to Cat.6A guidelines and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
