InLine seriële verlengkabel, gegoten DB37-stekker / bus, direct, grijs, 2 m

The InLine serial extension cable molded DB37 male / female direct grey 2m is a two-meter extension cable designed to extend DB37 serial connections between devices. The cable has molded DB37 male and female connectors for a secure, low-profile connection and is finished in grey for neutral visual integration in office or industrial environments. Its construction is intended to maintain signal integrity over the 2 m length while providing straightforward plug-and-play extension of existing DB37 cabling.

Advantages

This molded DB37 extension cable offers a stable mechanical connection with strain relief at both ends to reduce connector stress. The molded housing reduces the risk of loose contacts and improves durability compared with non-molded connector solutions. A 2 m length provides greater flexibility in equipment arrangement without introducing complex cable management, and the neutral grey jacket blends with common network and serial installations.

Key specifications

• Connector type: molded DB37 male to DB37 female
• Cable length: 2 m
• Color: grey outer jacket
• Design: direct straight-through wiring for signal extension
• Mechanical features: molded connectors with strain relief

How to use

Connect the DB37 male plug to the female port of the device providing the serial interface, and insert the DB37 female connector to the corresponding male connector of the receiving device or existing cable. Ensure connector screws or latches (if present on your equipment) are secured to avoid movement. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas with mechanical stress to maintain reliable signal transmission.

Recommendations

For best results use this cable within standard indoor environments and avoid running it parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or strong electromagnetic sources. If longer runs or shielded protection are required for sensitive signals, consider a dedicated shielded cable solution or signal conditioning equipment. Periodically inspect molded connector housings for wear and ensure secure mating to prevent intermittent connections.
