InLine USB 2.0 kabel, AM/AM, zwart, vergulde contacten, 3m

The InLine USB 2.0 cable (AM/AM) is a 3 m black cable with gold-plated contacts, designed for reliable data transfer and device charging. It features USB A connectors on both ends and complies with USB 2.0 specifications, providing a practical connection solution for peripherals such as printers, cameras and external drives.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, contributing to stable connections and longer contact life. The 3 m length gives greater flexibility in device placement, while the USB A to A configuration allows direct connection between compatible devices without adapters. The black outer sheath offers a neutral appearance that fits most setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to PCs or hubs
• Transferring data from cameras and media devices
• Connecting external hard drives and SSD enclosures
• Temporary direct connections between USB A-equipped devices

How to use

Insert each USB A plug into the corresponding USB A port on your devices. Ensure both devices support direct A-to-A connections; if one device requires a host connection (e.g., a PC), connect accordingly. For data transfer, wait for the operating system to recognise the connected device before starting file operations. For charging, verify that the power source provides appropriate current for the target device.

Recommendations

Use the cable for standard USB 2.0 data rates and charging. Avoid forcing connectors into ports and keep the cable away from heat sources and sharp edges. For permanent or long-term connections between two host devices, use a dedicated USB bridge or a hub to prevent potential damage.
