InLine USB 2.0 spiraalkabel, USB-C stekker / USB-A stekker, zwart/alu, flexibel, 1 m

The InLine High Speed USB 2.0 spiral cable is a compact extendable cable with USB-A male and reversible USB-C male connectors. Finished in black with aluminium-coated connector housings, the cable measures 1 m when extended and supports USB 2.0 data transfer speeds up to 0.48 Gbit/s. Its spiral design provides temporary extension and retracts to a low-bulk form for easy storage and transport, while the slim 8.4 x 2.6 mm Type-C plug is suitable for tight connector recesses and flush mounting on devices. Backward compatibility to older USB types is possible via adapters. The manufacturer states the Type-C connector is rated for approximately 10,000 mating cycles.

Advantages

The spiral construction offers convenient stretch-and-retract functionality to reduce cable clutter and improve portability. Aluminium-coated connector housings increase durability and give a consistent appearance. The reversible USB-C plug allows insertion in either orientation, and the slim plug dimensions make the cable suitable for smartphones, tablets, external USB hard drives, graphics adapters and other peripherals. Compatibility with USB 2.0 ensures reliable basic data transfer and broad device support.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones and tablets with USB-C ports to computers or chargers with USB-A ports
• Temporary connections to external USB hard drives and flash storage
• Use with USB-based adapters and external USB graphics or other peripherals

Key specifications

• Connectors: USB-A male to USB-C male
• USB version: USB 2.0 (up to 0.48 Gbit/s)
• Cable length (extended): 1 m
• Colour: Black with aluminium-coated connectors
• Type-C durability: approx. 10,000 mating operations (manufacturer claim)

How to use

Connect the USB-A end to a host device such as a computer, charger or USB hub and insert the reversible USB-C plug into the target device. Pull the spiral cable gently to extend it to the required length for the task and allow it to retract when not in use. For devices requiring different connector types, use an appropriate adapter to achieve backward compatibility.

Recommendations

To prolong connector life, avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and disconnect by pulling the connector body rather than the cable. Keep the cable clean and store it retracted to reduce wear.
