How to use

Insert the USB Type-C plug into a computer or device USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode or into a Thunderbolt 3 port. Connect an HDMI cable from the adapter's HDMI-A female socket to the HDMI input of the monitor or TV. The adapter is USB powered and typically functions immediately via plug & play; select the external display in the operating system display settings if necessary.

Recommendations

Ensure the host device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (often indicated by a DisplayPort symbol near the port). For best results when running 4K@60Hz, use a high-quality HDMI 2.0 cable and verify that the display supports the chosen resolution and HDCP version.
