How to use

Ensure your computer or device has a USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode or a Thunderbolt 3 port (often marked with a DisplayPort logo). Connect the USB-C plug of the adapter to the device and plug an HDMI cable from the adapter's HDMI-A socket to the display. The adapter is plug & play on supported systems; select the correct input on your monitor or TV. The adapter transmits both video and audio over the HDMI connection.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality HDMI cable rated for HDMI 2.0 or higher to achieve 4K@60Hz. Check your device’s specifications or port marking for DisplayPort Alternate Mode support; operating systems supported include Windows 7/8/10 and macOS 10.9 or newer. For optimum results, ensure your display and source both support the desired resolution and HDCP version.
