InLine USB Mini-Y-kabel 2x Type-A stekker / Mini-B stekker, 5-polig, 1m

The InLine USB Mini-Y Cable (2x Type A male to Mini-B male, 5 pin, 1 m) is a black Mini-USB cable that combines two USB Type A plugs into a single Mini-B plug. It is intended for use with external 2.5" hard drive enclosures and other devices with a Mini-USB (Mini-B) inlet when additional power is required beyond what a single USB port can supply. The cable supports standard USB 2.0 signalling with a maximum data transfer rate up to 0.48 Gbit/s and provides an additional power feed through the second Type A connector; the target device must be designed to accept this Y-cable power arrangement.

Advantages

This cable offers a simple way to draw extra power from two USB A ports while maintaining data connectivity through the Mini-B connector. Its 1 m length provides convenient reach for desktop and laptop setups, and the Mini-USB B connector matches devices that use the 5‑pin Mini-B standard. The black PVC jacket is compatible with common USB accessories and helps keep connections stable during use.

Suitable for

• External 2.5" HDD enclosures that require additional USB power
• Portable devices with a 5‑pin Mini-USB B inlet that support Y-cable power input
• Situations where a single USB port cannot reliably power a device

Key specifications

• Connectors: 2× USB Type A (male) to 1× Mini-USB B (male, 5 pin)
• Cable length: 1 m
• Data rate: up to 0.48 Gbit/s (USB 2.0)

• Brand: InLine, MPN: 33107X, EAN: 4043718092352

How to use

Connect the Mini-B plug to the Mini-USB inlet on the external hard drive or compatible device. Plug both Type A connectors into two separate USB ports on a computer or powered USB hub: one Type A provides data and primary power while the second Type A provides supplemental power only. Ensure the host device or hub ports are on the same system and deliver appropriate current. Use the cable only with devices that are specified to accept combined power from a Y-cable configuration.

Recommendations

Use this cable as a replacement or supplement for a device that explicitly supports Mini-Y power input. Do not force connections or use the cable with devices not designed for dual-USB power; doing so may cause unreliable operation or damage. For best results, connect both Type A plugs to the same computer or to a powered USB hub that can supply sufficient current.
