IP-beveiligingscamera Foscam T8EP dome 3840 x 2160 pixels

The Foscam T8EP is an 8 MP (3840 x 2160) PoE outdoor turret IP camera designed for wired outdoor surveillance. The black dome housing contains a CMOS sensor, 6x digital zoom and a wide field of view (approximately 90.1° horizontal / 46.2° vertical). The camera supports Power over Ethernet for simplified installation and is compatible with Foscam NVR systems.

Advantages

The camera provides high-resolution 4K imaging for clear detail at distance, enhanced night vision with infrared LEDs and built-in spotlights, and two-way audio via an integrated microphone and speaker. It includes person and vehicle detection to reduce false alarms and supports sound-and-light alarm functions (spotlight and siren) to deter intruders.

Suitable for

• Perimeter surveillance of residential properties
• Monitoring driveways and parking areas for vehicles
• Outdoor coverage of small commercial sites and entrances
• Integration with Foscam NVRs for continuous recording

Recommendations

Install the camera at a height that prevents tampering and provides an unobstructed view of the area to be monitored. Fine‑tune detection sensitivity and zone settings to minimise false alarms from moving foliage or shadows. Ensure the PoE source and network are protected from weather and install the camera within the manufacturer’s recommended operating conditions.
