IP-beveiligingscamera Hikvision DS-2CD1343G2-LIU(2.8mm) dome 2560x1440

The Hikvision DS-2CD1343G2-LIU(2.8mm) is a Value Series IP security dome camera offering 2560 × 1440 resolution in a compact ceiling-mount housing. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, it provides a wide horizontal field of view (98°) and vertical angle (54°) with 360° rotation capability. The camera uses a CMOS sensor and Hikvision ColorVu low-light imaging technology to deliver clear color images in low-light conditions while Motion Detection 2.0 helps distinguish humans and vehicles from other moving objects.

Advantages

This Hikvision dome camera combines high-resolution 2MP+ imaging with ColorVu low-light performance to maintain visible color details even in poor lighting. Motion Detection 2.0 reduces false alarms by differentiating people and vehicles from irrelevant motion. The camera supports wired Ethernet connectivity, is suitable for ceiling mounting, and is rated for both indoor and outdoor placement, providing versatile installation options for small and medium business environments.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business premises (shops, offices)
• Indoor common areas and outdoor entrances
• Ceiling-mounted surveillance of corridors and lobbies
• Locations requiring clear low-light color imaging

Configure network settings and enable Motion Detection 2.0 via the Hikvision web interface or device management software. Position the camera to cover desired areas, adjusting rotation and angle to achieve the required field of view. For outdoor installations, ensure the mounting location provides proper weather protection and cable routing.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use a PoE switch that meets the camera's power requirements, keep firmware updated to the latest Hikvision release, and perform periodic lens cleaning and position checks. Configure sensitivity and detection rules in Motion Detection 2.0 to minimise false alarms while maintaining detection of people and vehicles.
