IP-beveiligingscamera Hikvision Value Series DS-2CD1743G2-LIZU 2560x1440

The Hikvision Value Series DS-2CD1743G2-LIZU 2560x1440 is a dome IP security camera designed for ceiling mounting and suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. It delivers 2560 x 1440 resolution video with a motorized varifocal lens (2.8–12 mm) that enables flexible framing from wide-angle to narrow telephoto. The camera rotates up to 355° and provides a horizontal field of view that ranges approximately from 96.7° to 29.7°, allowing broad area coverage. Built in a white housing, the unit supports wired Ethernet connectivity and incorporates low-light ColorVu imaging and Motion Detection 2.0 to distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects.

Advantages

The camera offers high-resolution 2K imaging for clearer identification and evidence capture while preserving detail across scenes. Motorized focus and a 2.8–12 mm focal range simplify installation and remote adjustment without manual lens changes. A wide rotation range and adjustable field of view reduce the number of cameras needed to cover large or irregular spaces. Integrated smart motion detection and ColorVu low-light technology improve detection reliability in varied lighting conditions. The device's compact dome design and white finish allow discrete ceiling installation for many commercial and residential environments.

Suitable for

• Monitoring retail floors, entrances and checkout areas
• Securing office spaces, lobbies and corridors
• Surveillance of parking lots and building perimeters
• Warehouse aisles and loading bays requiring wide coverage

How to use

Install the camera on a stable ceiling surface using appropriate anchors and cabling for outdoor or indoor installation as required. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable Ethernet switch or use the recommended power supply and configure network settings via the Hikvision management software or web interface. Use the motorized lens controls to set focal length and focus remotely, and position the camera's rotation to cover the desired area. Enable ColorVu and Motion Detection 2.0 in the camera settings to optimize low-light performance and reduce false alarms by distinguishing humans and vehicles from other motion.

Recommendations

For reliable detection and image clarity, mount the camera at an appropriate height that balances coverage and identification needs (typically 2.5–6 m for indoor areas, higher for perimeter monitoring), ensure correct focus and focal length during commissioning, and configure motion detection sensitivity and detection zones to match the monitored environment. Regularly update firmware and perform periodic cleaning of the dome cover to maintain image quality.
