IP-beveiligingscamera Panasonic WV-S8530N

The Panasonic WV-S8530N multi-sensor IP security camera integrates multiple image sensors and repositionable lenses in a single dome enclosure to cover wide angles with high-resolution images. Designed for outdoor ceiling mounting, the camera suits perimeter, parking, plaza, intersection and transport hub monitoring where one unit must observe large zones with minimal blind spots. The WV-S8530N records Full HD (1920 x 1080) video and is built for reliable wired Ethernet networks.

Advantages

Four repositionable lenses allow flexible coverage patterns such as full 360° view or a 270° sweep plus the area directly below the camera, reducing the number of cameras required. The camera’s CMOS sensor delivers clear images in low light (minimum illumination 0.04 lx). Ceiling mounting, robust outdoor design and compatibility with standard wired Ethernet make the unit suitable for long-term fixed installations.

Suitable for

• Road intersections and traffic monitoring
• Stations, airport concourses and runways
• Building perimeters, parks and plazas
• Parking lots and large outdoor spaces

How to use

Choose the coverage pattern that fits the site: switch to 360° mode for complete surrounding coverage or select the 270° + right-below configuration to include the area immediately under the camera. During installation, mount the dome on the ceiling and connect the camera to your wired Ethernet network. Use the camera’s live view to confirm framing of all four sensors, then reposition the lenses to minimise blind spots. Select an individual sensor image to adjust zoom and focus so that critical areas are captured clearly.

Recommendations

For faster on-site setup, preview live images and adjust viewing angles with a tablet or smartphone through local network tools. Plan placement to provide clear sightlines for each lens and schedule regular checks of focus and framing after environmental changes (lighting, seasonal foliage, construction) to maintain image quality.
