IP-beveiligingscamera TP-Link Tapo C560WS — 8MP 3840×2160, Wi‑Fi 5, Ethernet, IP66, MicroSD tot 512 GB, 18x digitale zoom

The TP-Link Tapo C560WS is an IP security camera for indoor and outdoor use offering 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution, an 88° field of view and flexible mounting on ceilings, walls or desks. It combines a CMOS image sensor, an F1.6 lens and 18x digital zoom to capture detailed live views and recordings suitable for identifying faces, license plates and moving objects. The camera supports both Wi‑Fi (including Wi‑Fi 6 dual‑band) and wired Ethernet connections, local microSD storage up to 512 GB and optional cloud service for backup.

Advantages

Tapo C560WS delivers sharper, more detailed images and extended range thanks to its 4K sensor and 18x digital zoom. Local AI-based facial recognition and person/pet/vehicle detection reduce false alerts by processing data on the device without cloud uploads. The camera offers color starlight night vision with spotlights and an IR black-and-white mode, a panoramic patrol mode for automated 360° scanning or preset viewpoints, and customizable sound and light alarms for deterrence. Weatherproof IP66 housing allows reliable outdoor operation.

Suitable for

• Home perimeter and entrance monitoring
• Small business storefronts and parking areas
• Yards and outdoor living spaces
• Indoor rooms requiring high-detail surveillance (lobby, hallway)

Configure panoramic patrol schedules or set specific viewpoints, adjust spotlight brightness and record custom alarm audio as needed. Store important footage locally or enable Tapo Care cloud backup.

Recommendations

Mount the camera at a height and angle that frame target areas (entrances, driveways) while keeping the field of view clear of obstructions. For best night color performance, enable spotlights and place the camera where nearby light sources will not create glare. Use a stable Wi‑Fi 6 router or wired Ethernet for consistent 4K streaming and consider microSD storage plus optional cloud backup for redundancy.
