IP-bewakingscamera Xiaomi Smart Camera C300 H.265

The Xiaomi Smart Camera C300 is an indoor IP security camera delivering up to 2K (2304 × 1296) ultra-clear HD video. It combines an F1.4 large-aperture lens, a 6P optical assembly and a high-sensitivity image sensor to capture clearer, more detailed colour footage even in low-light conditions. The camera supports 360° horizontal rotation and a wide vertical tilt for all-round monitoring, H.265 video encoding for efficient storage and transmission, and multiple storage options including Micro SD, NAS and a free 7-day rolling cloud. It connects wirelessly via Wi‑Fi and supports remote viewing on multiple devices as well as two-way real-time audio.

Advantages

The camera provides upgraded 2K image quality and an F1.4 large-aperture 6P lens that improves light intake and reduces refraction for clearer images in dim lighting. Built-in AI human detection reduces false alarms through algorithm and network optimisation. H.265 encoding cuts storage needs by about half compared with H.264 at the same pixel rate. Multiple storage methods (Micro SD up to 256 GB, NAS and cloud) increase data redundancy, while the Xiaomi Security Chip and BSI Kitemark certification strengthen data security. The device supports two-way voice calls and seamless integration with Mi Smart Clock for live view display.

How to use

Install the camera on a shelf, desk, wall or ceiling using the supplied screw-in base. Power the device and connect it to your Wi‑Fi network via the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app. Use the app to rotate the image if the camera is mounted inverted and to set pan/tilt limits. Enable AI human detection to reduce false alerts, choose required storage method (insert Micro SD up to 256 GB, configure NAS or use the free rolling cloud for motion clips), and grant remote-viewing permissions for your smartphone or tablet. Use the app to start two-way voice calls and view live or recorded footage with 1×/4×/16× playback speeds for history stored on the Micro SD card.

Recommendations

Place the camera at an elevated indoor position with an unobstructed view for best coverage. For improved low-light colour footage, avoid pointing the lens directly at strong backlight sources. Regularly check Micro SD health if using local storage and enable cloud backup for critical recordings.
