IR-verlenging Omnitronic LUB-27 – accessoire voor IR-afstandsbedieningssignaalverlenging, model 10453009

The Omnitronic LUB-27 IR Extension (model 10453009) is an accessory designed to receive and retransmit infrared remote control signals for devices placed out of direct line of sight. It extends the reach of an existing remote by picking up IR commands and sending them to equipment located in cabinets, behind racks, or in other concealed positions, allowing reliable control without moving the controlled device.

Advantages

The LUB-27 provides a straightforward solution for relaying infrared commands to hidden audio/video equipment or other IR-controlled devices. It supports uninterrupted remote operation by receiving incoming IR signals and forwarding them to the target device, minimizing the need to open cabinets or reposition equipment. The accessory is compatible with standard IR remote protocols, enabling use with a wide range of consumer electronics and AV components.

How to use

Place the LUB-27 where it can reliably receive signals from your remote control, and position its IR emitter or connection so retransmitted signals reach the target device. Ensure clear line of sight between the remote and the receiver portion of the extender; route emitters or cables as needed into cabinets or behind racks to reach device IR sensors. Follow any included manufacturer instructions for powering the unit and connecting it to emitters or device IR ports.

Recommendations

The Omnitronic LUB-27 is best used in installations where devices are concealed but must remain controllable by standard IR remotes; avoid placing the receiver where strong ambient light or direct sunlight could interfere with IR detection, and verify proper alignment of emitters with device IR windows for reliable operation.
