K2 GreenRoof Strut 480mm aluminium voor zonnepaneelmontage op groendaken

For green roof solar installations, structural integrity often hinges on the connecting elements that keep module rows aligned and stable. The K2 GreenRoof Strut 480mm is engineered specifically for this role—a robust aluminium cross brace that reinforces the GreenRoof system without adding unnecessary weight to the roof membrane. Unlike generic mounting rails, this strut is precision-formed from EN AW-6063 T66 aluminium, delivering high corrosion resistance and long-term durability in all-weather outdoor conditions. Its 480 mm length is matched to the GreenRoof geometry, ensuring a clean, low-profile fit that integrates seamlessly with ballasted flat roof setups. Whether you are planning a small residential array or a large commercial green roof project, this component provides the reliable structural connection that keeps the entire system performing season after season.

Highlights

• Purpose-built for K2 GreenRoof systems: guaranteed compatibility with existing GreenRoof components and layout patterns.
• Premium aluminium construction (EN AW-6063 T66) offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio and natural corrosion resistance.
• 480 mm length optimised for horizontal cross-bracing, enhancing module row stability without excess material.
• Rectangular profile design maximises bending stiffness while maintaining a slim, unobtrusive profile on the roof.
• All-weather suitability: withstands UV exposure, rain, snow, and temperature fluctuations typical of green roof environments.
• TÜV-certified manufacturer series, reflecting rigorous testing and quality assurance.

In daily use

Installers will appreciate how the K2 GreenRoof Strut simplifies array assembly. It acts as a horizontal connecting element between primary supports, distributing loads evenly and reducing point stress on the green roof buildup. Because it is part of the GreenRoof system, alignment is intuitive—no custom fabrication or drilling is required. The natural aluminium finish blends with surrounding metal components and requires no additional coating, keeping maintenance to a minimum. On a ballasted flat roof, the strut helps maintain consistent spacing and prevents lateral movement, which is critical for both energy yield and roof protection. Its lightweight nature also eases handling during installation, cutting labour time without compromising structural performance.
