Kaartlezer DELOCK USB 5 Gbps met SD- en microSD-sleuven, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A/Type-C, kabel en adapter, zwart/grijs

The DELOCK USB 5 Gbps card reader provides two memory card slots for SD and MicroSD (TransFlash) cards and includes built-in compartments for storing cards. It supports data transfer rates up to 5000 Mbit/s over USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1) and can connect to host devices using USB Type-A or USB Type-C. The package includes a USB-C to USB-C cable and adapters for Lightning and USB-A connections. The compact aluminium housing measures 40 × 130 × 18 mm and is finished in black and grey, making the reader suitable for portable backup and quick file transfers of photos, video and documents.

Advantages

The card reader reads and writes SD and MicroSD formats while providing a direct USB Type-A connector so other USB devices can be used when the reader is connected. Integrated storage compartments hold multiple SD, MicroSD and Nano SIM cards, keeping media organised and protected during transport. Aluminium construction offers a lightweight but sturdy casing and the included cables and adapters extend compatibility across a wide range of laptops, desktops and mobile devices.

How to use

Connect the card reader to a host device using the appropriate connector: plug the integrated USB Type-A connector into a compatible USB-A port, use the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable for USB-C hosts, or attach the provided Lightning/USB-A adapters as required. Insert an SD or MicroSD card into the corresponding slot until it seats firmly. The operating system should recognise the card as an external storage device and assign a drive letter or mount point. Use standard file manager tools to copy, move or delete files. Remove cards safely using the system's eject/unmount function before physically removing them to avoid data corruption.

Recommendations

For reliable transfers, connect the reader directly to a host port rather than through an unpowered hub, and avoid removing cards during active data operations. Store spare cards in the integrated compartments to protect them from dust and loss. Keep firmware and device drivers of your host device up to date for best compatibility.
