Power splitter MACLEAN MCE249 F/W – 2x stopcontacten (16A + 6A) en 4x USB (2x A, 2x C PD 20W)

MACLEAN MCE249 F/W is a compact power splitter that combines two alternating-current mains sockets with four USB charging ports in a single unit. One mains socket is rated for 16A and the other for 6A, allowing connection of higher‑power appliances alongside lower‑power devices. The USB section includes two USB‑A ports and two USB‑C ports with Power Delivery (PD) up to 20W per USB‑C port, enabling simultaneous charging of phones, tablets and other USB‑powered gadgets. The device is intended for use in homes, offices and travel scenarios where several power sources are required in a limited space.

Advantages

The integrated design saves wall outlet space by providing two mains sockets with different current ratings plus four USB ports in a single compact housing. Separate 16A and 6A sockets make it possible to connect both higher‑current appliances and lower‑power equipment without adapters. USB‑C Power Delivery (20W) supports faster charging for compatible devices while USB‑A ports maintain compatibility with a wide range of older chargers and cables. The unit is suitable for mixed loads and reduces the need for multiple adapters or separate chargers.

How to use

Plug the MACLEAN MCE249 F/W into a compatible wall outlet and ensure the supply matches the device ratings. Plug appliances into the 16A or 6A mains sockets according to their power requirements. Connect USB‑A or USB‑C cables to charge mobile devices; for faster charging of compatible devices use the USB‑C PD ports. Avoid exceeding the rated current for each mains socket and do not overload the combined USB output beyond device limits. Unplug the splitter from the wall before cleaning or when not in use for extended periods.

Recommendations

Use the 16A socket for higher‑power appliances (e.g., larger kitchen or workshop equipment rated within the socket limit) and the 6A socket for lamps, chargers or low‑power devices. Prefer USB‑C PD ports for smartphones or tablets that support PD 20W to achieve better charging speed; retain USB‑A ports for legacy devices. Check connected devices’ power ratings to avoid overloading individual sockets and follow local electrical safety rules when installing and operating the unit.
