LED-lamp met PIR-sensor MACLEAN MCE525 B – buitenwandlamp, bewegingsgeactiveerde LED

MACLEAN MCE525 B is an outdoor wall-mounted LED lamp with an integrated PIR motion sensor. Designed for entrances, facades and pathways, this motion-activated LED light automatically switches on when movement is detected, providing targeted illumination where and when it is needed. The compact housing and discreet design allow installation on a variety of exterior walls while offering energy-efficient lighting for security and convenience.

Advantages

The lamp combines LED efficiency with a passive infrared sensor to reduce energy usage and extend illumination only when necessary. Key specifications

How to use

Install the lamp on a stable exterior wall at a height that provides optimal sensor coverage of the intended area. Connect to a suitable mains supply following local electrical regulations and ensure correct polarity and grounding where required. Adjust sensor orientation and the detection settings, such as sensitivity and on-time, according to the manufacturer’s instructions to avoid unwanted switching from distant movement or small animals. After installation, test the sensor response at night to confirm correct operation and coverage.

Recommendations

Position the lamp to illuminate approach routes and potential trip hazards while avoiding direct exposure of the sensor to moving vegetation or reflective surfaces. For extended product life and consistent performance, clean the sensor lens periodically and check electrical connections during seasonal maintenance. If the installation area is exposed to heavy weather, verify that mounting points and seals remain intact to maintain weather resistance.
