Kabeladapter Garbot DP naar HDMI stekker/bus 31.20.9003 — DisplayPort naar HDMI converterkabel

Garbot Cable Adapter DP to HDMI (model 31.20.9003) is a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter cable with a DisplayPort (male) connector and an HDMI (female) socket. It allows a device with a DisplayPort output to be connected to HDMI displays, TVs or projectors that accept HDMI input. The adapter performs passive signal conversion suitable for transmitting video from a DisplayPort source to an HDMI sink when the source supports DP-to-HDMI output.

Advantages

The adapter provides a compact and straightforward solution for connecting DisplayPort-equipped laptops, desktops or graphics cards to HDMI displays without requiring an external converter box. Its cable form factor reduces cable clutter compared with separate adapters and short HDMI leads. The female HDMI end accepts standard HDMI cables, allowing flexible cable length and routing while maintaining compatibility with common HDMI displays and projectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or desktop with DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Using a DisplayPort-equipped computer with an HDMI projector for presentations
• Temporary or mobile setups where a simple DP-to-HDMI connection is required

Key specifications

• Connector configuration: DisplayPort (male) to HDMI (female)
• Function: DisplayPort to HDMI video signal connection
• Suitable for: connecting DP output devices to HDMI input displays

How to use

Insert the DisplayPort (male) connector into the DisplayPort output on your computer or device. Plug a standard HDMI cable into the adapter's HDMI (female) socket and connect the other end of that HDMI cable to the HDMI input on your monitor, TV or projector. Ensure the source device is configured to output video via DisplayPort and select the correct input on the display. No external power is normally required; if the display shows no signal, verify that the source supports DP-to-HDMI output and check cable seating.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a good-quality HDMI cable between the adapter and the display and ensure the DisplayPort source supports DP++ (DisplayPort Dual-Mode) or native DP-to-HDMI output. For high-resolution displays, confirm that both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate over the chosen cables.
