Vivolink PROUSBCBMM20 USB-kabel USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) 20 m USB C USB B zwart

The Vivolink PROUSBCBMM20 is a 20 m USB cable with a USB‑C connector on one end and a USB‑B connector on the other. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) with a maximum data transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s, making it suitable for connecting cameras, USB hubs and other USB3.0/USB2.0 devices to modern laptops that only have USB‑C ports. The cable is finished in black and designed for use in meeting rooms and other professional environments where long cable runs are required.

Advantages

The cable provides a direct USB‑C to USB‑B connection over 20 metres while maintaining USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds (5 Gbit/s) and backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 devices. Its length allows flexible placement of devices such as cameras or hubs in meeting rooms without needing intermediate adapters or extenders. The integrated converter supports both USB3.0 and USB2.0 signalling to ensure compatibility with a wide range of equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB‑B devices (e.g. conference cameras, printers, audio interfaces) to laptops with USB‑C ports
• Long cable runs in meeting rooms, conference halls or classrooms
• Upgrading legacy USB devices to work with modern USB‑C only laptops

How to use

Connect the USB‑C end to the laptop’s USB‑C port and the USB‑B end to the USB3.0 device. Ensure both devices are powered if required. The cable’s converter negotiates the correct USB mode (USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 2.0) automatically. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and secure the cable along its run to prevent strain.

Recommendations

For reliable high‑speed data transfer over 20 m, route the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid coiling it tightly; use cable clips or ties to support the cable along its length.
