VivoLink HDMI-female Keystone-inzet PROKEYHDMIFM2W wit — HDMI-bus Keystone-module

VivoLink PROKEYHDMIFM2W is a white HDMI female keystone insert designed for mounting into keystone wall plates or patch panels. It provides a standard HDMI female connection that allows routing of video and audio signals through structured cabling systems, enabling a tidy and modular termination point for in-wall and rack installations. The insert is intended for environments where a professional-looking connection and straightforward cable management are required.

Advantages

This HDMI female keystone insert offers a compact, standardized form factor compatible with common keystone wall plates and patch panels, simplifying installation and replacement. The white finish blends with typical interior fittings and reduces visual impact. The unit provides a fixed, reliable HDMI female port that helps protect cable ends from strain and wear while maintaining a consistent signal path for audio and video transmission.

Suitable for

• Home AV installations where in-wall HDMI termination is required
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces with wall-mounted displays or projectors
• Professional AV racks and structured cabling panels
• Modular media furniture and custom AV furniture installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI female keystone module
• Color: white
• Compatibility: standard keystone wall plates and keystone-compatible patch panels
• Signal support: HDMI audio and video pass-through (compliant with HDMI physical interface)
• Mounting: snap-in keystone format for tool-less insertion into keystone apertures
• Construction: compact plastic housing designed for low-profile installations

How to use

Install the keystone insert by snapping it into a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate or patch panel until it locks in place. Connect a standard HDMI cable to the front female port for the display or source device, and route the corresponding HDMI cable or terminated connector behind the plate or into the panel. Ensure cables are dressed and secured to avoid strain on the inserted keystone module. For replacement, depress the retention tabs and remove the module from the aperture before inserting a new unit.

Recommendations

Use high-quality HDMI cables and verify that connected devices support the desired HDMI features and resolutions. Avoid bending cables sharply near the keystone insert and secure cabling within the wall or rack to prevent mechanical stress. If long cable runs or higher HDMI bandwidths are required, select cables rated for the target resolution and refresh rate to maintain signal integrity.
