KABELMEISTER Cat.7 S/FTP patchkabel, TPE-mantel, halogeenvrij, violet, 0,15m

In a high-density server rack, every centimetre counts. This 0.15 m Cat.7 patch cable from KABELMEISTER connects adjacent ports with zero slack, keeping cable management tidy and airflow unobstructed. Its violet TPE jacket stands out instantly among black and grey cables, so tracing connections takes seconds, not minutes.

Key specifications

• Category 7 (Cat.7) S/FTP shielding with PiMF (pairs in metal foil) for superior noise immunity
• Short 0.15 m length – ideal for neat, high-density patching between adjacent ports
• Supports 10GBASE-T up to 600 MHz bandwidth for 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Stranded copper conductors for flexibility and durability in dynamic installations
• Gold-plated RJ45 contacts with molded strain relief and latch protection
• Halogen-free TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket – highly flexible, LSZH
• Compliant with TIA/EIA-568-B.2-10, ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, RoHS, REACH

Why choose it

The combination of Cat.7 performance and a short, flexible design makes this cable perfect for server-to-switch connections in the same rack or for patching between adjacent patch panels. The S/FTP shielding eliminates alien crosstalk, ensuring stable 10G links even in cable-dense environments. The TPE jacket remains pliable even at low temperatures and resists oils and abrasion, extending service life.

Ideal use cases

• Data center rack patching (server to top-of-rack switch)
• High-density patch panel connections
• Short-run links in network cabinets and enclosures

Good to know

This cable is halogen-free and LSZH, meaning it emits low smoke and toxic gases in the event of a fire, making it suitable for use in enclosed spaces where safety is a priority. The violet colour is not just for identification; it also helps to quickly distinguish between different network segments or VLANs in complex installations.
