Schildersafplakband Tesa Maler Krepp 4348 50 mm x 50 m voor het lakken

Tesa Maler Krepp 4348 50 mm x 50 m is a crepe-paper masking tape designed for painting and surface protection during interior decoration and DIY tasks. The tape combines a conformable paper backing with an adhesive selected for clean removal from typical indoor substrates, enabling accurate edge protection and reduced paint bleed-through. The 50 mm width offers a balance between coverage and precision for masking trims, frames and straight edges.

Advantages

The crepe-paper backing conforms easily to corners and irregular profiles and can be torn by hand for quick application. The adhesive holds reliably to painted walls, wood, glass and metal during typical drying times, yet allows clean removal without leaving significant residue when removed within the recommended time frame. The tape is available in a roll length that reduces the need to change rolls frequently on medium-sized painting tasks.

Suitable for

• Masking skirtings, door and window frames before painting
• Protecting adjacent surfaces during interior wall and ceiling painting
• DIY projects requiring temporary adhesion and precise paint lines
• Light renovation and touch-up work where clean removal is needed

Key specifications

• Backing material: crepe paper for flexibility and hand-tearing
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for interior surfaces
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 50 m per roll
• Typical removal behavior: clean removal from painted surfaces when removed within recommended time

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust or grease before applying the tape. Unroll the tape and apply it along the desired edge, pressing down firmly to create a tight seal against the surface; use fingernail or a flat tool to smooth corners and edges. For best results, apply tape at room temperature and avoid stretching the tape during application. After painting, remove the tape slowly and at a sharp angle while the paint is dry to the touch or as recommended for the coating used.

Recommendations

Do not leave the tape on delicate or freshly applied paints longer than the manufacturer’s recommended time to avoid adhesive transfer. Test adhesion on a small inconspicuous area if surface sensitivity is unknown. Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive performance.
