Kabelslot FISCHER 85848 — 1800 mm, zwart, met framehouder

Cable lock FISCHER 85848 — 1800 mm, black, with frame holder is a flexible security cable designed to secure bicycles and other portable items. The 1800 mm length allows the cable to be wrapped around frames, wheels and fixed objects while the included frame holder provides an organized mounting point on the bicycle frame when the cable is not in use. The black finish gives a neutral appearance and helps conceal surface dirt during outdoor use.

Advantages

The long, pliable cable offers a balance between reach and ease of handling, enabling users to secure multiple parts of a bike or to anchor the bike to a post or rail. The integrated frame holder simplifies transport and storage, keeping the cable accessible and preventing it from tangling or dragging while riding. The product’s straightforward design makes it compatible with a variety of locking methods and mounting positions.

Suitable for

• Securing bicycles to fixed objects such as posts, racks or railings
• Temporary locking of scooters, child trailers or other small outdoor equipment
• Keeping portable items like helmets or bags attached to a bicycle while parked

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1800 mm
• Color: black
• Material: flexible steel cable with protective outer coating
• Includes: frame holder for mounting on bicycle frame
• Design: pliable cable suitable for wrapping and securing multiple points

How to use

Wrap the cable around the bicycle frame and a fixed object, ensuring the cable passes through the frame and, where possible, through the wheel or removable parts you want to secure. Insert the cable ends into your chosen locking mechanism (sold separately) or use an existing lock head that is compatible. When not in use, attach the cable to the supplied frame holder and secure the holder to the bicycle frame according to the holder’s mounting method.

Recommendations

For improved security, use the cable lock together with a robust lock head or padlock rated for bicycle security. Position the cable so it passes through the frame and wheel rather than only around the wheel. Store the cable in the frame holder to avoid exposure to excessive moisture and to minimize wear to the outer coating.
