Kabelstriptang DeLOCK 90552

This wire stripper by Delock is designed for precise preparation of fiber optic cables. Compact and easy to handle, it combines multiple stripping openings for different jacket and coating thicknesses with an ergonomic, non-slip grip. A locking mechanism prevents unintentional opening or closing during transport or storage.

Advantages

The tool offers three dedicated stripping openings that accommodate a 2 mm outer jacket, a 900 µm buffer, and a 250 µm acrylate coating, enabling step-by-step cable preparation without switching tools. Soft, non-slip handles and an ergonomic shape provide comfortable, controlled handling during repeated use. The compact dimensions make it suitable for field work and storage in a toolkit.

How to use

Select the appropriate stripping opening for the layer to be removed: use the largest opening for the 2 mm outer jacket, the second opening for the 900 µm buffer, and the third opening for the 250 µm acrylate coating. Position the cable in the chosen opening, close the pliers to cut the jacket or coating, and pull the tool along the cable to remove the material. Release the locking mechanism before use and engage it after finishing to secure the pliers.

Recommendations

Handle blades with care and inspect the stripped fiber for damage after each operation. Do not use the tool on live electrical conductors. Store the pliers locked to protect the cutting edges and prevent accidental injury.
