Kabelverbinder ShiverPeaks BS51110-M 3,5 mm roestvrij staal bus

The ShiverPeaks BS51110-M 3.5 mm Stainless steel Female wire connector is a compact component for establishing reliable audio and signal connections where a 3.5 mm female interface is required. Constructed from stainless steel, the connector offers mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for use in environments where durability is important. Its design fits standard 3.5 mm plugs and is intended for integration into cable assemblies, panels, or small devices that require a secure female audio or signal port.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction provides enhanced resistance to corrosion and wear compared with plated brass or plastic alternatives, supporting long-term performance in both indoor and outdoor settings. The 3.5 mm female interface is compatible with common audio and signal plugs, enabling straightforward interoperability with a wide range of consumer and professional devices. The compact form factor allows installation in confined spaces and simplifies integration into panels or enclosures.

Suitable for

• Audio connections for portable and fixed devices
• Signal input/output ports in instrumentation and control panels
• Replacement or upgrade of existing 3.5 mm female connectors
• Outdoor or humid environments where corrosion resistance is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm female
• Material: stainless steel housing
• Colour: stainless steel (metallic finish)
• Intended use: audio and signal connections
• Form factor: compact, panel or cable-mount compatible

How to use

Install the connector by mounting it in the designated panel opening or by terminating it to the cable assembly following accepted soldering or crimping practices for 3.5 mm connectors. Ensure correct wiring of signal, ground, and any shielding according to the circuit requirements. After mechanical installation, verify that the mating plug inserts fully and that electrical continuity and insulation meet the intended specifications before placing the assembly into service.

Recommendations

For best results, use compatible 3.5 mm plugs and avoid excessive bending or strain on the cable at the connector interface. Where exposure to aggressive environments is expected, confirm compatibility of adjacent materials and consider additional sealing or strain relief to preserve long-term reliability.
