Kabelverbinder ShiverPeaks BS51311-2 2,5 mm zwart bus

The ShiverPeaks BS51311-2 2.5 mm Black Female wire connector is a compact electrical connector intended for creating reliable low-voltage connections in audio, video and general electronic applications. Supplied as a pack of two, the connector features a 2.5 mm female interface in a black housing designed to mate with compatible 2.5 mm male plugs. The small form factor and standard contact size make it suitable for installations where space is limited and a secure detachable connection is required.

Advantages

The connector provides a standardized 2.5 mm female contact that ensures consistent electrical contact and easy mating with matching male plugs. Its black housing offers visual neutrality and can be easily integrated into equipment panels, cable assemblies or custom wiring harnesses. Supplied in a two-piece pack, it allows for immediate use in pairs or as spare components for maintenance. The construction supports repeated insertions while maintaining contact integrity, which contributes to dependable signal transmission in low-voltage circuits.

Suitable for

• Audio and video equipment connections with 2.5 mm plugs
• Small electronic devices and DIY electronics projects
• Repair and maintenance of cable assemblies and connectors
• Custom wiring harnesses and panel-mounted detachable connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2.5 mm female
• Colour: black
• Quantity: pack of 2 pieces
• Application: low-voltage signal and power connections
• Form factor: compact, panel or cable-mountable style (female socket)

How to use

Prepare the mating cable or device with a compatible 2.5 mm male plug. If the connector is intended for cable mounting, strip the cable conductors to the appropriate length and follow the manufacturer’s recommended method to secure the conductor to the connector contact (solder, crimp or screw depending on the connector variant). Align the male plug with the female socket and insert straight to ensure proper contact. Verify connection integrity by gently testing for secure fit and continuity before powering the circuit.

Recommendations

Use the connector within low-voltage ranges appropriate for signal and small power delivery. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture, mechanical strain, or voltages beyond intended ratings. For long-term reliability, inspect contacts periodically for corrosion or wear and replace connectors showing damage or degraded contact performance.
