Kabelwartel Bachmann 917.033 grijs 1 stuk

The Bachmann 917.033 cable gland provides a secure and sealed entry point for single cables in electrical enclosures and equipment. Constructed in durable grey material, the gland offers protection against dust and moisture while also providing strain relief to prevent cable pull-out and protect connections. Supplied as a single piece, it is intended for straightforward installation in panels, junction boxes and other housings requiring a reliable cable seal.

Advantages

This cable gland combines robust construction with a compact design to deliver dependable sealing and mechanical protection. Its grey housing resists common environmental contaminants and supports stable cable positioning, reducing the risk of wear at the connection point. The product is easy to install and compatible with standard panel cutouts, making it practical for maintenance and replacement tasks.

Suitable for

• Sealing single cables entering electrical enclosures and junction boxes
• Providing strain relief for control, signal or power cables
• Use in domestic, industrial and light commercial installations where dust and moisture protection is required

Key specifications

• Color: grey
• Quantity: 1 piece per pack
• Function: cable entry sealing and strain relief
• Material characteristics: durable, suitable for protection against dust and moisture
• Mounting: panel or enclosure entry

How to use

Drill or use the existing panel cutout to match the gland's mounting diameter, insert the gland into the hole and secure it according to the enclosure's fixation method (threaded nut or snap-fit as applicable). Pass the cable through the gland, ensure correct cable diameter match for effective sealing, then tighten the gland until a firm seal and strain relief are achieved. Verify that the cable is held securely and that no exposed conductors are at the entry point before restoring power.

Recommendations

Select a gland size that matches the cable outer diameter for optimal sealing performance; avoid over-tightening which can damage the cable sheath. Inspect the gland periodically for damage or degradation, and replace if the sealing performance is compromised. Use in accordance with relevant electrical installation standards and safety practices.
