Kabelwartel DeLOCK 60340 grijs kunststof 1 stuk

The DeLOCK 60340 cable gland is a single-piece grey plastic fitting designed to provide a watertight seal for cable and conduit entry points. It secures cables to housings and protects against dirt and moisture while remaining suitable for a variety of industrial and automation environments.

Advantages

The cable gland provides an IP68-rated dust- and waterproof seal and includes an integrated bend protection spiral that offers strain relief for flexible cables. Its robust grey plastic construction supports use in both indoor and outdoor installations and helps prevent damage from excessive bending, particularly near moving machine parts.

Suitable for

• Cable lead-throughs in control cabinets and enclosures
• Automation and robotics applications
• Machinery where cables require strain relief and environmental protection
• Indoor and outdoor installations requiring an IP68 seal

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriate housing cut-out for the cable gland, insert the gland into the opening and route the cable through the gland. Tighten the gland according to the enclosure and cable diameter so that the sealing elements engage and a watertight fit is achieved. Ensure the bend protection spiral is positioned to support the cable near moving parts or points of stress.

Recommendations

Verify the cable diameter and matching gland opening before installation. Do not overtighten the gland to avoid damaging the cable or sealing components. For outdoor or harsh environments, check the seal periodically and replace the gland if the plastic shows signs of wear or cracking.
