KALI AUDIO IN-8W V2 - 3-weg actieve studiomonitor (zwart)

In the critical listening environment of a professional studio, inaccurate monitoring can lead to flawed mixes and poor translation across playback systems. The KALI AUDIO IN-8W V2 addresses this by delivering a truly neutral and revealing soundstage through its innovative 3-way coaxial design. This powered studio monitor combines an 8-inch woofer, a 4-inch mid-range driver, and a 1-inch tweeter in a front-ported enclosure, ensuring precise imaging and minimal distortion even at high SPLs. With built-in DSP tuning and flexible room correction, it adapts to any acoustic space, making it an indispensable tool for audio professionals.

Who is it for

The IN-8W V2 is engineered for recording and mixing engineers, producers, and mastering specialists who demand uncompromising accuracy. It is equally suited for home studios, project studios, broadcast facilities, and post-production suites where reliable reference monitoring is essential.

Main features

• 3-way coaxial design with dedicated mid-range driver eliminates crossover artifacts in the critical vocal range for exceptional clarity.
• Front-ported bass reflex enclosure reduces boundary coupling, allowing flexible placement near walls without compromising low-end response.
• Powerful Class D amplification delivers 140W RMS (60W LF, 40W MF, 40W HF) for clean, dynamic output up to 117 dB peak SPL.
• Onboard DSP with Boundary EQ and LF/HF trim enables precise room adaptation for a flat frequency response.
• Versatile connectivity with XLR, 1/4" TRS, and RCA inputs ensures seamless integration into any studio setup.

Tips

For optimal performance, position the IN-8W V2 at ear height and use the Boundary EQ settings to compensate for desk or wall reflections. When connecting multiple sources, utilize the XLR input for balanced signals to minimize noise. Allow a brief break-in period for the drivers to reach full sonic potential.
