Kalibratieset Datacolor SPK-PV125 — kleurkalibratiesoftware en -hardware voor foto-/videoworkflows

Datacolor SPK-PV125 is a calibration kit that combines dedicated color calibration software with a compact hardware sensor to maintain consistent color across cameras, monitors and post-production workflows. Designed for photo and video professionals, the kit supports measurement and adjustment of color targets, monitor profiling, and camera color matching to reduce color drift between capture and final output.

Advantages

The kit integrates software algorithms and a calibrated measurement device to provide repeatable color readings and profiles. It supports both monitor calibration and camera profiling, enabling end-to-end color management for multi-device setups. The hardware sensor is portable and engineered for accurate spectral response, while the software offers guided workflows for creating profiles and applying corrections. Together, they help minimize color discrepancies and improve consistency across different devices and viewing conditions.

Suitable for

• Photographers working on color-critical image editing and retouching
• Videographers requiring consistent color across multiple cameras and monitors
• Post-production studios doing color grading and delivery for broadcast or streaming
• Content creators who need reliable color matching between capture and display

Key specifications

• Includes color calibration software with guided profiling workflows for monitors and cameras
• Portable hardware sensor designed for spectrally accurate color measurement
• Support for creating device profiles and applying color corrections across workflows
• Compatibility with commonly used editing and grading environments for color interchange
• Designed for both photo and video workflows where color fidelity is required

How to use

Install the included software on the workstation and connect the hardware sensor via the recommended interface. Use the guided software steps to create a monitor profile first, placing the sensor on the display and following on-screen instructions to measure and adjust white point, luminance and gamma. For camera profiling, capture the supplied target under controlled lighting, then import the reference capture into the software to generate a camera profile. Apply generated profiles within your editing or grading software to ensure consistent color from capture through post-production.

Recommendations

Perform monitor calibration regularly and before color-critical sessions; ensure ambient lighting is stable when creating camera profiles and use controlled light sources for best results.
