Kinderfiets Toimsa 1159 — 12 inch wiel, blauw, voor kinderen

The Toimsa 1159 children's bicycle with 12-inch wheels in blue is a compact bike designed for young children who are starting to learn to ride. The small frame and 12" diameter wheels provide a low standover height and stable contact with the ground, making it suitable for toddlers and preschoolers. Built for recreational use and balance training, this model offers a straightforward configuration focused on easy mounting, basic pedaling and safe short rides around the neighbourhood or park.

Advantages

This Toimsa 1159 bike combines a lightweight frame geometry with 12-inch wheels to aid first-time riders in developing coordination and balance. The compact size and simple mechanical setup make it easy for parents to maintain and adjust. Reinforced contact points and a stable wheelbase reduce wobble during low-speed movement, while responsive brakes allow controlled stopping suitable for young riders.

Suitable for

• Toddlers and preschool children beginning to learn to ride
• Short recreational rides in neighbourhoods, parks and playgrounds
• Balance and coordination training prior to upgrading to larger bicycles
• Supervised outdoor play and basic mobility exercises

Key specifications

• Wheel size: 12 inches
• Frame: small child-sized frame designed for young riders
• Colour: blue
• Intended use: recreational cycling and beginner balance training
• Brake type: child-appropriate responsive braking system (manufacturer setup)
• Seat: adjustable child saddle for small leg reach

How to use

Adjust the saddle height so that the child can place the balls of their feet on the ground while seated, allowing secure balance and easy reach to the pedals. Perform a basic safety check before each ride: verify that the brakes engage smoothly, that the wheels spin freely and that quick-release or axle fittings are tight. Use a gradual introduction to riding—start with short supervised sessions on flat, even surfaces and encourage the child to practise pedalling, steering and controlled stopping. For very young beginners, consider temporarily using balance-only practice (with pedals removed) to build confidence.

Recommendations

Always use an appropriate child-sized helmet and protective gear. Supervise young children during rides and choose traffic-free, level areas for training. Regularly check tire pressure, brake function and fastening points to maintain safe operation.
