Kinderfiets Toimsa 1459 – 14 inch wielen, Bluey-design, voor kinderen

The Toimsa 1459 children's bicycle with 14" wheels features Bluey-themed graphics and a compact frame designed for preschool and early school-age riders. This model is intended for casual outdoor riding, helping children learn to balance, pedal and develop coordination. The simple, age-appropriate specification focuses on safety and everyday play, making it suitable for short rides in parks, on pavements and in gardens.

Advantages

The bicycle's 14" wheel size and low standover height make mounting and dismounting easier for smaller children. A lightweight steel frame provides a balance between durability and manageable weight for young riders. Moderate gearing and a single-speed setup reduce mechanical complexity and maintenance needs. Safety-oriented features such as enclosed chain protection and child-friendly grips contribute to safer daily use.

Suitable for

• Children learning to balance and pedal independently
• Short casual rides in parks, sidewalks or residential areas
• Playtime and developing coordination skills
• Preschool and early-school-age children who need a compact bicycle

Key specifications

• Wheel size: 14 inches
• Frame: compact low-top geometry suitable for small riders
• Brake type: child-friendly rim or coaster brake (model-dependent)
• Tires: treaded tyres for mixed pavement and light off-pavement use
• Gearing: single-speed configuration
• Design: Bluey-themed graphics on frame and accessories

How to use

Adjust saddle height so the child's feet can touch the ground with knees slightly bent when seated; this improves confidence when starting and stopping. Use the handlebars and grips to steer gently while encouraging the child to look ahead. If the bicycle is equipped with a coaster brake, explain and practice gradual pedaling back-pressure; if it has hand-operated rim brakes, teach the correct, gradual squeezing technique. Regularly check tyre pressure, brakes and chain/drive protection before each ride.

Recommendations

Always fit an appropriately sized helmet and consider knee and elbow protection for beginners. Supervise young riders, choose smooth, traffic-free areas for practice, and keep ride durations appropriate for the child’s stamina. Perform routine maintenance such as tyre inflation and brake checks to ensure safe operation.
