Klapmes CIVIVI Mini Praxis Ultem amber zwart C18026C-5 — compacte EDC, Ultem greepschalen, glad lemmet

The CIVIVI Mini Praxis Ultem Amber Black C18026C-5 is a compact folding knife engineered for everyday carry. It combines a plain-edge blade with Ultem amber/black handle scales to deliver a lightweight, corrosion-resistant tool for routine cutting tasks. With a small footprint and secure folding mechanism, this Mini Praxis model is intended for users who need precise control and convenient portability in a durable EDC blade.

Advantages

The Ultem scales provide excellent strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to impact and chemicals, reducing overall carry weight without sacrificing handle rigidity. The plain-edge blade offers consistent, clean cuts and is easy to sharpen, making it versatile for a variety of daily tasks. The folding design keeps the blade protected when not in use and enables discreet, pocket-friendly carry. Attention to fit and finish ensures reliable deployment and repeatable performance.

Suitable for

• Everyday cutting tasks such as opening packages and slicing cord or tape
• Light outdoor activities, including food prep and small camp chores
• Precision tasks requiring a compact, controllable blade
• Everyday carry for urban and travel use where a compact knife is preferred

Key specifications

• Blade type: plain edge for smooth, continuous cuts
• Handle material: Ultem amber/black for lightweight durability
• Action: folding knife with secure lock mechanism for safe use
• Size class: compact EDC suitable for pocket carry
• Finish: blade finished for general-purpose cutting tasks

How to use

Open the knife using the designated deployment method until the locking mechanism engages fully. Hold the handle firmly and position the plain-edge blade at the appropriate angle for the material being cut. Apply steady pressure and use controlled strokes for precise work; avoid twisting motions that may damage the edge. After use, clean any debris from the blade and pivot area, then fold the blade closed until the lock seats to prevent accidental opening during carry.

Recommendations

Keep the blade sharp with regular honing or sharpening to maintain cutting efficiency. Inspect the pivot and locking mechanism periodically for loosening and apply light lubricant to the pivot if deployment becomes stiff. Use the knife within legal restrictions of your area and follow basic safety practices: cut away from your body, wear appropriate protection when necessary, and store the folded knife out of reach of children.
