Klapmes KS Tools 907.2190, bladlengte 220,0 mm, met vergrendelingsmechanisme

Folding knife ks tools 907.2190 has a 220.0 mm folding blade and an integrated locking mechanism that keeps the blade securely fixed during use. The tool combines a long cutting edge with the convenience of a foldable design for compact storage and safe transport. It is intended for users who need an extended blade length for tasks such as woodworking, trimming large sheets, packaging and general-purpose cutting.

Advantages

The long 220.0 mm blade increases reach and reduces the number of passes needed when cutting wider materials. The built-in locking mechanism ensures the blade remains stable under load, improving cutting control and user safety. The folding design reduces storage space and protects the blade during transport. The knife is constructed to offer a balance between rigidity and portability for professional and hobby use.

Suitable for

• Cutting and trimming wood panels, laminates and plywood
• Opening and cutting packaging and corrugated cardboard
• General workshop and maintenance cutting tasks
• Hobby projects requiring a long, sturdy folding blade

Key specifications

• Blade length: 220.0 mm
• Foldable blade for compact storage
• Integrated locking mechanism for blade retention
• Handle designed for two-handed control when needed

How to use

Open the folding knife until the locking mechanism engages and verify the blade is fully locked in the open position before applying cutting force. Position the blade along the intended cut line and apply steady, controlled pressure; use multiple light passes rather than a single heavy cut when working with thicker or harder materials. After use, retract the blade by releasing the lock according to the knife’s mechanism and fold it into the handle for safe storage and transport. Regularly inspect the blade for wear or damage and replace or sharpen as required to maintain cutting performance.

Recommendations

For safe operation, wear appropriate hand protection and keep fingers clear of the blade path. Use the knife on a stable work surface and avoid twisting motions that could compromise the locking mechanism. Store the folded knife in a dry location to reduce corrosion risk and periodically lubricate the hinge if stiffness develops.
