Klemgereedschap Bessey DuoKlamp DUO 450/85 — 450 mm lengte, 85 mm bekbreedte

Bessey DuoKlamp DUO 450/85 is a clamping tool with a 450 mm bar length and 85 mm jaw width designed to hold workpieces steady during assembly, gluing or machining. The DuoKlamp system delivers consistent, even pressure across the clamped area and allows quick adjustment to different workpiece sizes. The tool is suitable for a wide range of workshop tasks in woodworking, metalworking and general repairs where reliable, stable clamping is required.

Advantages

The clamp combines a long bar and wide jaws to provide secure support for larger or irregularly shaped parts while maintaining accessible operation. Its mechanism ensures steady clamping force with minimal slippage and easy repositioning. The DuoKlamp design reduces the need for repeated tightening and allows precise control of pressure, which helps protect delicate surfaces and glued joints.

Suitable for

• Assembly and fixture work in woodworking
• Holding parts during gluing and bonding operations
• Metalworking tasks requiring steady clamping
• General workshop repairs and DIY projects

Key specifications

• Bar length: 450 mm
• Jaw width: 85 mm
• Clamping system: DuoKlamp quick-adjust mechanism
• Application: handheld bar clamp for assembly and fixation
• Pressure distribution: designed for even, stable force across jaws

How to use

Position the clamp so the jaws sit flat against the workpiece surfaces that need holding. Adjust the movable jaw along the bar to approximate the required span, then engage the clamping mechanism to apply force until the workpieces are held firmly. For gluing, apply pressure evenly and avoid over-tightening to prevent squeezing out excessive adhesive; for machining, ensure the workpiece is immobilized before starting operations. Release by disengaging the quick-adjust mechanism and sliding the movable jaw away from the workpiece.

Recommendations

Use protective pads or scrap wood between the clamp jaws and finished surfaces to prevent marking. Inspect the clamp for wear or damage before use and keep the sliding bar clean and lightly lubricated for smooth adjustment. Select the DuoKlamp when even pressure over a moderate span is required.
