Staafklem BESSEY TG30-2K 30 cm aluminium zwart rood

The Bessey TG30-2K bar clamp is a 30 cm aluminium and iron clamp designed for secure, stable holding during woodworking and assembly tasks. Its construction combines lightweight aluminium with durable iron components to provide a balance between portability and clamping strength. With an ergonomic handle and a compact profile, this bar clamp is suitable for repetitive use in workshops and on-site jobs where consistent pressure and alignment are required.

Advantages

The clamp offers a reliable clamping force with a 30 cm opening, supported by a rigid aluminium bar that resists bending under load. The ergonomic handle improves user comfort during tightening and release, while the combination of materials reduces overall weight without sacrificing durability. The black and red finish enhances visibility in a busy work environment and helps identify gripping surfaces quickly.

Suitable for

• Woodworking glue-ups and edge joining
• Cabinet and furniture assembly
• DIY projects and small repairs
• Holding parts during cutting, drilling or sanding

Key specifications

• Clamping capacity: 30 cm
• Primary materials: aluminium and iron
• Weight: approximately 2.2 kg
• Handle: ergonomic design for improved grip
• Finish: black and red

How to use

Position the fixed jaw and slide the movable jaw along the bar until the clamp reaches the desired opening. Place the clamp so that the jaws contact the workpieces evenly and apply pressure by tightening the handle until the pieces are held securely. For precise alignment, use light adjustments and re-tighten as needed. To release, operate the quick-release or unthreading mechanism depending on the model variant and slide the movable jaw away from the workpieces.

Recommendations

Use protective pads or scrap wood between the clamp jaws and finished surfaces to prevent marring. For longer clamping times, periodically check and re-tighten to maintain consistent pressure. Store the clamp in a dry place to avoid surface corrosion on iron parts.
