How to use

Place the wedge on the end of the log or piece of wood to be split with the sharp edge aligned along the intended split line. For thicker pieces, start a shallow groove with a few light strikes and then continue with stronger blows. Ensure stable footing and secure the wood before striking.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. Do not use the wedge on metal, frozen wood, or as a lever. Inspect the wedge for cracks or deformation before each use and replace if damaged.
