Koelsysteemonderdeel Thermal Grizzly TG-M2SSD-ABR zwart

The Thermal Grizzly TG-M2SSD-ABR Black is a cooling component engineered to improve thermal management for M.2 SSD modules. It is designed to transfer heat away from high-performance NVMe drives, helping to maintain stable operating temperatures under sustained workloads. The compact form factor and black finish make it suitable for integration in modern desktop and compact build environments without obstructing adjacent components.

Advantages

This Thermal Grizzly part provides improved heat dissipation compared with standard passive surfaces, reducing thermal throttling and promoting consistent SSD performance. Its construction offers good contact with the SSD controller and NAND packages to increase thermal conductivity. The black finish gives a neutral appearance that integrates with a variety of PC builds while remaining unobtrusive in tight installations.

Suitable for

• High-performance NVMe M.2 SSDs in desktop and compact systems
• Gaming PCs and workstations under sustained load
• Upgrades where improved SSD cooling is required to reduce throttling
• Small form factor builds where space-efficient cooling components are needed

Key specifications

• Form factor: dedicated M.2 SSD cooling accessory compatible with standard M.2 module sizes
• Color: black finish for a neutral aesthetic
• Function: passive heat spreader designed to improve thermal conduction from SSD components
• Compatibility: intended for use with single-sided and double-sided M.2 NVMe SSDs depending on motherboard clearance
• Mounting: designed for straightforward installation without modification to the drive or motherboard

How to use

Power down the system and disconnect it from the mains before beginning installation. Remove the M.2 SSD mounting screw and gently lift the existing drive if present. Position the Thermal Grizzly TG-M2SSD-ABR so it makes firm contact with the SSD controller and NAND components, align it with the M.2 slot and secure the SSD with the mounting screw. Reconnect power and verify drive detection and normal operating temperatures in the system BIOS or using monitoring software.

Recommendations

Install the cooling part only on supported M.2 modules and ensure adequate motherboard clearance; monitor SSD temperatures after installation to confirm improved thermal performance and avoid obstructing airflow to adjacent components.
