Koelvloeistof EK Water Blocks

EK Water Blocks 3831109810415 coolant is a transparent violet liquid formulated for liquid-cooled computer systems. Supplied in a 1 liter bottle, the coolant improves heat transfer while providing corrosion protection for metals commonly used in PC cooling loops. The formula includes scale and biological inhibitors to reduce fouling and help maintain long-term thermal performance. The mixture is biodegradable (90% in 10 days) and the product has a 2-year shelf life from bottling.

Advantages

The coolant contains synergistic corrosion inhibitors tested to BS5117 (ASTM D1384) standards, suitable for copper, brass, aluminum and stainless steel. Scale and biological inhibitors reduce deposits and microbial growth, supporting stable thermal efficiency. The transparent violet color provides visual customization for cooling loops. EK recommends using the dedicated filling bottle to simplify loop filling.

Suitable for

• Custom liquid-cooled desktop PCs
• High-performance workstations and gaming rigs
• Systems requiring corrosion protection for mixed-metal loops
• Cooling loops where visual coolant color is desired

How to use

Flush the cooling loop according to manufacturer recommendations before filling. Fill the loop with the EK coolant, using a filling bottle if available to simplify the process and reduce spills. Run the pump to circulate the coolant and inspect the loop for leaks. Allow the system to operate for a short period, then recheck fluid level and top up if necessary.

Recommendations

Use this coolant in closed-loop liquid cooling systems only. Do not mix with unknown additives; follow EK Water Blocks guidance for compatible products and maintenance intervals to preserve corrosion protection and thermal performance.
